An explosion at the National Assembly kills everyone in the cabinet, leaving Park Mu-jin, the Minister of Environment, to become the next president. Park Mu-jin is a scientist-turned-politician who has no ambitions in politics, but as the acting president for 60 days, he is compelled to investigate the truth behind the attack. Ki Moo-Hyeok, a lawyer with a high winning rate, only cares about money. Due to a murder case at a high school which he deals with, his reputation as a lawyer hits rock bottom. To regain his good name as a lawyer, he sneaks into the high school and work as a temporary teacher. He tries to reveal a secret which the students have, and gets involved with Teacher Ha So-Hyun, a P.E. teacher who loves her students. They then face the students'secret.

Yoon Jong-Woo is a man in his 20's. He has lived in a small town for all of his life, but he gets a job at a small office in Seoul. Yoon Jong-Woo moves out to Seoul and stays at a cheap apartment which shares its kitchen and bathroom with other residents. He doesn't like staying at the apartment and he doesn't like the other residents who seem weird and suspicious.

Moon Suk-Goo works as a manager at Cheonrima Mart, which belongs to the Daema Group. Cheonrima Mart's future looks bleak as they don't have many customers and Moon Suk-Goo is frustrated by the store's situation. One day, Jung Bok-Dong, who was an executive at Cheonrima Group, is demoted to the CEO position at Cheonrima Mart. Manager Moon Suk-Goo begins to have hope that the store will experience a turnaround with the new CEO. In actuality, Jung Bok-Dong wants to destroy Cheonrima Mart to take revenge on the parent company for his demotion. Unexpectedly, Jung Bok-Dong's actions soon causes the store to attract customers.

This drama tells the story of Lee Sun Sim (Hyeri), an ordinary employee who suddenly becomes the CEO of the company she works at.

That’s how industrial accidents take place. Doctor Detective is a drama where medical doctors treat the patients suffering from industrial accidents and look into the truth behind the accidents. The story of the drama starts when Joong Eun, who is an enormously talented medical doctor, gets to join an undiagnosed disease center(UDC) in the middle of experiencing difficulties in her personal life. And she starts to look into her patients' diseases caused by industrial accidents and work on revealing the truth concealed by those with power.
